Is there a breach for inactivity?

Estimated reading: 1 minute

Yes. At thePropTrade, an account becomes inactive if no trades are placed for 30 calendar days, and this results in an automatic account breach.

Inactivity Rule Explained

To prevent an inactivity breach, every trader must place at least one trade every 30 calendar days on their account.

This inactivity rule applies to Challenge Accounts, Funded Accounts, and Instant Funding Accounts.

Your inactivity countdown begins the moment your account is issued. If no trading activity occurs within that 30-day window, the system classifies the account as inactive, and the account is breached and closed.

This rule helps ensure consistent trader engagement and protects the integrity of the funded program.

Warning – Inactivity Causes an Irreversible Breach

If your account is breached due to inactivity, it cannot be reactivated. You will need to purchase a new challenge to continue trading with us.
