PayFlex (Edge 1-Step) Challenge FAQs

How does PayFlex (Edge 1-Step) work?

Estimated reading: 2 minutes

The PayFlex (Edge 1-Step) model is designed for traders who prefer a flexible, low-entry evaluation. Instead of paying the full challenge fee upfront, you start with a reduced entry fee, complete a single evaluation phase, and only pay the remaining activation fee after you successfully pass.

This structure lowers the initial cost while still maintaining a structured path to a Funded Account.

Passing Objectives

Step 1 – Evaluation Phase

In the first step, you trade a simulated evaluation account with a defined profit target and risk limits.
Your goal is to demonstrate controlled, rule-compliant trading performance.

To complete Step 1, you must:

  • Reach a 3% profit target*
  • Follow all risk rules and guidelines.

After Passing Step 1

Once the evaluation is completed successfully:

  • Your trading activity is reviewed for eligibility and compliance
  • Unique Activation Payment link to pay the remaining one-time activation fee is issued. This link appears in your Client Portal.
  • Once the payment is completed, your Funded Account is issued, and you can begin trading as a funded trader

* PayFlex accounts purchased prior 24 February 2026 have profit target 6%.
